Just in case you didn’t know it already, the hip shakin’ sultry Latina pop princess Shakira is one of the most desirable women in the world, and online men’s magazine AskMen.com have confirmed that today by naming the curvy Colombian among the ten most irresistable females on the planet.

The singer has taken the world by storm this past year with her Oral Fixation World Tour, sexy dance moves and platinum-selling album, and now she can further enjoy a good ego-massaging by boasting herself as being the seventh most desirable woman in the world.

Singer and actress Beyonce — and Shakira fanatic — was ranked the most desirable woman in the world. Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Alba were listed at second and third respectively.

Shakira Expects Cleanliness

Shakira expects the stage to be spotless clean before she will start any show, because she likes to perfom in bare feet.

The Colombian says: “It’s got to be clean otherwise I can’t go on.”

Despite her admission last week she is not enjoying the cold-chill running through Europe, Shakira insists she would like to visit Scotland during her current European tour. (notoriously cold this time of year)

She said: “I love Scotland. I think it’s beautiful. I don’t always get to decide where I go on tour. It’s the promoters, but I would love to come.”

Finally, she admitted “its scary” to be turning 30 early next month. She says it’s “a big thing” but doesn’t “know what I’ll be doing yet.”

Shakira Rocks Germany, Dislikes The Cold

Shakira continues her sell-out Oral Fixation World Tour, currently breezing through Europe for almost three months where she will play 24 shows through until March. While she is enjoying the experience mostly, her organizers might have scheduled things better for the sulty Latina, because the ice cold temperatures are proving tough for the sun-kissed star.

“It is fantastic to connect with so many people on this tour. I’ve learned so much about this continent and its people but it is freezing,” Shakira said. “I do expect to have a lot of fun on stage though, just like I did last night.”

Shakira played Hamburg, Germany on Thursday, and last night wowed fans in Berlin with a sizzling performance. On Sunday she will play to a sell-out crowd in Hannover, Germany, before moving onto Belgium to play a date in Antwerp.

Shakira and SEAT: Catch The Fever

Following the announcement that SEAT will be the main sponsor of the 2007 Shakira “Oral Fixation” European Tour, SEAT is about to launch a major European-wide advertising campaign benefiting from this partnership. The main elements of the campaign will be seen as of mid January. But already since December a dedicated Shakira / SEAT website is on air.

The bridge between the two “brands” (SEAT and Shakira) will be the action tagline “Catch the Fever” combined with a specially created action-logo, the S icon. Together with a very colorful and specially developed campaign-layout, this is the perfect stage for introducing Shakira, as an ambassador of the brand, appearing in SEAT’s advertising.

Apart from the several visuals, the most notable outtake from the campaign would likely be a TV commercial with Shakira, including a song from Shakira exclusive to SEAT that hasn’t been released before. The TV commercial will focus on the “Lively” aspect of the SEAT brand values. It will obviously carry the exclusive song and will be done in a music video style.

Shakira To Rock Dubai

Global pop sensation Shakira is set to send Dubai’s temperature soaring this Spring when she brings her hip-shaking Latino moves to Dubai for her first ever Middle East concert. Shakira looks forward to a rocking good time in Dubai.

The two-time Grammy Award winner, who is Lebanese-Columbian, will follow in the footsteps of Destiny’s Child and Robbie Williams when she performs at Dubai Autodrome on March 23.

And speaking exclusively to sponsor 7DAYS, she seemed less worried about the 25,000-strong audience likely to turn out to see her ‘Oral Fixation’ tour and more concerned with fitting in some serious sight-seeing.

“I hope I get time to see some of Dubai. I have heard the desert is magnificent and would love to shop in the Old Souk”, Shakira said. “I am very excited about performing for my Middle Eastern fans for the first time – I have heard a lot about Dubai and performing here for the first time will be something special. It will be one of the biggest shows on my 2007 tour.”

Shakira Has A Fan In Beyonce

Beyonce has revealed the reasons why she’s teaming up with Latina sensation Shakira to release an eagerly await duet.

Talking to MTV, the ‘Deja Vu’ diva said she loved every minute of working with the swivel-hipped star on their new track, ‘Beautiful Liar’.

“I’ve always loved her and I’ve always wanted to work with her and the song fits perfectly,” Beyonce said.

“It basically talks about two women; the same guy is trying to get at both of them but instead of them fighting, they’re saying, ‘He’s a beautiful liar, let’s not fight, let’s stick together – forget him!’ I think it’s a great concept.”

Shakira Wins New US Award

Shakira, the Woman of 2006, rang in the new year with the People s Choice Award for best pop song, “Don t Lie,” it was reported Wednesday.

Along with the famous diva from Barranquilla, Colombia, actress Eva Longoria was chosen favorite TV star.

The adventure film “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” and its stars Johnny Depp and Keira Knightley were also on the list of winners.
